Not Even This Time For NTR
Last Friday, Government of India declared the prestigious Padma and Bharat Ratna awards. Bharat Ratna considered as the highest civilian award of India was given to Pranab Mukherjee, posthumous singer Bhupen Hazarika and social activist Nanaji Deshmukh.
TDP members who were anticipating that highest honour award would be given to TDP founder and former chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao are extremely disappointed.
TDP party members were trying hard from two decades in demanding Bharat Ratna to be attested their beloved NTR but all their hopes have gone in vain.
In a recent meeting, L Ramana president of Telangana TDP quoted that, we were insisting the government from more than two decades and in every Mahanadu but the successive governments in the centre are unbothered and ignored the request.
An actor with immense fame among the Telugu people, a leader is known for his contributions to the welfare of the people is been neglected by the central governments showing distress to the people, L Ramana added.
We don’t stop yet and we’ll be striving hard until the central governments declare Bharat Ratna to our great leader NTR, L Ramana recited.
