Superstar Rajinikanth and his actor son-in-law Dhanush had a great year in 2018. Rajinikanth and Dhanush are on cloud nine over the success of their respective films —2.0 and Maari-2. Robot- 2 received positive reviews from several quarters while Maari-2 received mixed reviews from the audiences. Rajinikanth and Dhanush performance in the movie has been appreciated by critics and fans alike.
In between, Rajinikanth is waiting for Petta to open in theatres which are slated for release in the Pongal weekend. Sometime back, the makers of Petta unleashed a teaser from the movie which has received a positive response from audiences and cine buffs.
Coming to Dhanush, he was last seen in Maari 2 which turned out to be a decent affair. In this movie, he plays a notorious gangster. The film also stars Sai Pallavi as the leading lady and is her first-time collaboration with Dhanush.
