Baba Ramdev Asks Why No Hindu Monk Got Bharat Ratna!

No sadhu has given Bharat Ratna for their great contributions to the world, said yoga teacher Ramdev on Sunday.

When asked if he has grudge against the government in this issue, Ramdev said that he can’t say that. “I’m simply pointing it out”, he said.

Earlier, in 2014, Ramdev supported in 2014 and later he said he will stay away from politics.

Ramdev said that he has huge respect for the people who had received Bharat Ratna but why single Hindi monk hasn’t received the award, he questioned.

The contributions of Maharishi Dayananda or Swami Vivekananda towards the nation were unforgettable and they were no less than any politician or sports person, he added.

"They have given Mother Teresa this award as she was a Christian, but they will not give to other seers as they are Hindus. It is a crime to be a Hindu in this nation?" Ramdev questioned.

Many people said that the award list reflects the political concerns of BJP as the elections are very near, in May.
