Hyderabad BJP President Observes One Day Fast

BJP MLC and Greater Hyderabad City BJP president N Ramachander Rao observed a one-day fast in a protest demanding the State government to pull up its socks by increasing the number of COVID tests, the appointment of doctors, nurses and other health staff.
“We have been objecting to the State government’s attitude of trying to suppress the number of positive cases by not conducting the tests from the beginning”, he told.
The minister said that people have to wait for long hours in queues to get their tests done, they don’t find beds to admit their patient and there is the unavailability of ventilators in the whole city.
He further said that the State government is taking things for casual as they only assigned Gandhi Hospital for its treatment and no other in the city.
One of the BJP union leaders had been denied admission at Gandhi Hospital, seeking admission at several hospitals but being met with denial, the union leader had died, he claimed.
