India needs qualitative change, and BRS will provide it: CM KCR
K. Chandrashekhar Rao, the President of the BRS and the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, said that fundamental changes, such as those to the Constitution, the election system, the courts, the economy, the government, and the way things are run, are needed right away for India to move forward.
He said that India can't move forward and catch up with the rest of the world until it stops doing things the same way and makes basic changes.
The leader of the BRS was at his most intelligent as he answered questions about many different topics. He worked hard to explain different parts of government and the need for change. He used the progress made in Telangana over the last nine years and other countries as models.
Chandrashekhar Rao was worried about India's path to growth. He said that in the last seven decades, the country has not been able to meet the hopes of its people. He brought up the fact that most people are unhappy with the way things are right now. One of the main things the Chief Minister talked about was the closing of many businesses, which made him wonder how well the "Make in India" plan was going. He stressed the importance of making more things in the country instead of relying on imports from places like China. He didn't point the finger at any one party or person, but instead asked everyone to think about how important it is to make a change.
