KCR Proposes To Develop 104 Link Roads In Hyderabad

With a cost of 2,410 crore, KCR government has proposed to develop 104 link roads under Missing Links Projects (Phase-III). The development of the link roads will be grounded in the coming days.
There will be 72 roads measuring 95.47 km within the limits of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation for a cost of Rs 1,160 crore, and 32 roads measuring 103.45 km for a cost of Rs 1,250 crore in its surrounding 10 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
Ghatkesar, Kothur, Dammaiguda, Nagaram, Jawaharnagar Shamshabad, Bandlaguda Jagir, Manikonda, Ibrahimpatnam, and Badangapet are the ULBs where these roads will come up.
With the objective ease traffic, improve mobility, enhance the growth of commercial establishments the link roads project is proposed said HRDCL (Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited () in a press release.
KT Rama Rao instructed the identification of 135 link roads with a total length of 126.20 kilometers. The HRDCL took up the development of 37 link roads at a cost of Rs 572.17 crore. It completed the development of 21 roads with an expenditure of Rs 273.61 crore. However, remaining 16 roads work will underway at a cost of Rs 298.56 crore.
