Low Voting Percentage - Andhra Voters on Vacation?
Already, the elections topic created a lot of discussions till the voting process gets completed. And now, it is all about why the voting percentage in Hyderabad city is quite low.
Especially, in the areas where there is more than 80% presence of Andhra settlers and first descendants of settlers, the voting percentage is quite low.
On the whole state, the registered percentage around 67% of the voting, but also there are some places where there is nearly 70% turnout.
Unofficial figures collected at ground level are showing that the polling percentages are very low in a constituency where there are majority of Andhra people.
Kukatpally is said to have registered 50% turnout, LB Nagar (39%), Jubilee Hills (40%), Sanath Nagar (37%), Uppal (43%) and Serlingampally (47%). Everyone are in wonder as half of the voters are missed to vote.
Some people say Andhra people are upset with all the political dramas and tie-ups. Political analysts are saying that weekend has given a chance for people to go on a vacation to vote.
