PM's 24th March Address Highlights, Complete Country Lockdown

PM Modi addressed the whole nation yesterday starting at 8 pm, on the coronavirus outbreak and talked about some vital aspects relating to the menace of Covid-19.
Being the major highlight of the address was the announcement about the complete lockdown of the country from today 12 am onwards. He also asked the citizens to strictly follow precautionary measures and maintain social distancing.
He also announced that the lockdown dates in India have been extended by 21 days till 14 April and brought everyone’s attention towards the importance of social distancing. “We can only prevent new cases and contain the virus through it. India may have to pay a big price due to the negligence of a few. To stop coronavirus, stay at a distance from each other and stay inside your houses,” he was quoted as saying.
There will be strict actions against people violating the lockdown rules and stepping out of their homes. The PM even folded his hands to emphasize his request to the citizens to adhere to the call.
He also took it as the best opportunity to announce about Rs 15,000 crore that has been funded to fight the corona situation in the country. This fund will be utilized in setting up of new isolation beds, ventilators, and other facilities required to fight the virus.
At last, he requested everyone not to panic and be inside their homes. If we stand united and follow every rule adherently, we can uproot the corona evil out of our country and make our country safe from it.
