Teenage Telugu Girl's Body Discovered At the Foot of a U.S. Cliff
Siri Reddy, a 16-year-old Indian-American girl, went missing in Texas, and her mother used a cell phone tracking software to locate her body at the base of a cliff. Siri Reddy failed to appear for pickup, so her worried mother went to San Antonio's Keystone School. But there was no sign of her daughter.
Twelve miles from Reddy's school, in Thousand Oaks, the mother used a tracking software on her daughter's phone and found her in a forested area near Heroes Stadium. While the police were searching, the mother discovered her daughter at the base of a precipice she had not previously noticed. She was pronounced dead at the scene despite cops' best efforts to revive her. However, the cause of death has not been determined.
In a statement issued by the school, she was called an "award-winning student." She "contributed to the Upper School robotics team, was a member of the National Honour Society, and a member of the school's science fair team, for which she received an award."
