HRD Minister Nara Lokesh Orders Probe into Ganja Use at IIIT-Idupulapaya
HRD Minister Nara Lokesh has initiated an investigation into allegations of ganja consumption among students at IIIT-Idupulapaya. During a public grievance meeting, known as 'praja darbar,' concerned parents voiced their worries about the impact of drug use on their children's academic performance. The parents claimed that the campus had become a hub for ganja, adversely affecting student life.
Lokesh assured the parents that the issue would be addressed promptly. He emphasized that the government has already implemented measures to combat drug use and pledged to take further action to protect the students' futures. He also called for strict action against local politicians allegedly promoting ganja consumption.
