Kiran Kumar Reddy Talks About Chandrababu’s Failures
Kiran Kumar Reddy, former Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh made himself known after a long silence by criticizing AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He blamed Naidu for not doing everything in his power to demand Special Category Status for AP from the Central Government being its ally.
He opined that the fight of Chandrababu is a failure. He blamed Chandrababu Naidu for walking out of NDA after 4 years instead of walking out the minute the Centre denied to give Special Category Status and put pressure on the Centre.
If being an ally of NDA doesn’t get the work done for TDP, we can’t say what else can do it. It is the failure of TDP itself if it is incapable of getting all the promises made by the centre fulfilled.
Former Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy did not spare even Opposition Leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. He criticised Jagan of his Padayatras. “Why does Jagan go on Padayatras? I don’t think there is any purpose or direction for his Yatras”, he added.
According to Kiran Kumar Reddy, the Opposition Party should point out and question the government’s wrongdoings and participate in the democratic process. He blamed YSRCP for being interested only in winning the elections and having their government.
Even though his criticism comes at the right time, there is still no clear idea about the role of Kiran Kumar Reddy in AP Congress or the strategy of the Congress Party for the forthcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.
