Letter: Harish Rao requests the return of Rs 495 crore!

The Central Government contributed Rs. 495 crore to Andhra Pradesh as part of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) share in 2014–15, according to Finance Minister T Harish Rao.
The delay in the center's release of Rs. 495 crore to the State, which was inadvertently transferred to the Andhra Pradesh government during the establishment of Telangana, has been brought up once more by the Telangana administration.
Finance Minister T Harish Rao stated that the Central government has granted Rs. 495 crore as part of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) share to Andhra Pradesh in 2014–15 in a letter to federal Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman on Sunday. Grants, particularly under CSS, were distributed across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during the first year following the division of Andhra Pradesh depending on the population ratio.
However, he claimed that these money were inadvertently transferred to AP, causing Telangana to incur a loss.
The Telangana administration has been asking the Indian Accountant General, the Andhra Pradesh government, and the union government to fix Telangana's appropriate part of the CSS matching funds ever since the state was created. According to Harish Rao's letter, the efforts had not yet paid off.
