Minister Nara Lokesh to Embark on 3-Day Tour in Vizag, Marking First Visit Post-NDA Government Formation
State Education and Human Resources Minister Nara Lokesh is set to visit Visakhapatnam (Vizag) for a three-day tour, marking his first trip to the city since the NDA alliance took power in the state. Lokesh will arrive in Vizag on the evening of August 28, where the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) cadres and leaders have planned a grand reception. The welcome will feature a massive rally from the airport, along with large cutouts and flex banners showcasing the minister.
After arriving, Minister Lokesh will spend the night at the TDP office in Rockdale Layout, staying in a specially arranged bus. On August 29, he is scheduled to attend a court hearing in a defamation case against Sakshi newspaper, accompanied by State President Palla Srinivasa Rao. Following the court appearance, Lokesh will meet with party leaders and cadres at the party office, where he will stay overnight.
On August 30, Lokesh will visit one or two schools in the city to conduct inspections, with education department officials expected to join him. Later, he will hold a review meeting with district officials and public representatives at the collectorate. Lokesh is expected to depart Vizag for Vijayawada on the night of August 30 or the morning of August 31.
