NJ Indians Are the Target of a Christmas Eve Crime
Elected County Committeeman Jayesh Mehta of Edison, New Jersey, made a startling discovery on Facebook when he revealed a string of burglary attempts that had tainted his neighborhood throughout the holiday season.
Mehta provided a disturbing report in which she said that an unknown person routinely tried to access car doors in the neighborhood on Christmas Eve with the evil purpose of robbing innocent locals.
In response to the concerning circumstances, Mayor Sam Joshi and Police Chief Bryan moved quickly, pledging to call a neighborhood meeting and sending out more patrol cars to protect the area.
Mehta stressed the importance of community watchfulness and asked people to report any suspicious activity right away. He also gave a vital piece of advice on how to integrate motion-activated cameras, such as RING, with a voice deterrent to put up a strong barrier against possible break-ins.
Mehta's call to action sounds true as a sharp warning for locals to lock their cars, keep their valuables inside, and invest in security systems that could deter such malicious attempts in the face of this alarming wave of crime.
