Nara Lokesh Fulfills First Promise of Yuva Galam Padayatra with New Dialysis Centre in Bangarupalyam
In January 2023, TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh embarked on the Yuva Galam Padayatra, a state-wide walkathon across Andhra Pradesh, during which he made several promises at key milestones. His first commitment came when he completed 100 km of the journey, reaching Bangarupalyam in the Puthalapattu constituency. At that time, Lokesh pledged to establish a dialysis centre at the Bangarupalyam government hospital to provide accessible healthcare for kidney patients, who often had to travel long distances for treatment.
Fast forward to 2024, and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), in coalition with Janasena and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), now governs Andhra Pradesh. True to his word, Lokesh has delivered on his promise by setting up the dialysis centre in Bangarupalyam. The new facility is expected to greatly benefit kidney patients in the surrounding areas, providing them with essential medical services close to home.
Lokesh made similar commitments at other milestones throughout his Yuva Galam Padayatra, and he is expected to continue fulfilling those promises in the days to come.
