Nara Lokesh Meets HCL Delegation as Company Announces 15,000 New Jobs in Andhra Pradesh
A delegation from Hindustan Computers Limited (HCL), led by Corporate Vice-President Srimathi Shivashankar and Associate Vice-President Siva Prasad, met with Andhra Pradesh's Human Resources Development and Information Technology Minister, Nara Lokesh, at his residence in Undavalli on Tuesday, August 20.
During the meeting, HCL representatives shared their plans to expand the company's operations in Andhra Pradesh. Currently employing 4,500 people in the state, HCL announced its intention to create an additional 5,500 jobs in the near future, with a long-term goal of hiring 15,000 employees to support their growth.
As part of this expansion, HCL will establish a new facility designed to provide employment to 10,000 individuals. The company also expressed its commitment to collaborating with the state government on various skilling initiatives to ensure a highly trained workforce.
