Nara Lokesh may meet legal experts in Delhi before Naidu's quash petition hearing.
Nara Lokesh, the national general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party, met with Chandrababu Naidu on Friday at Rajahmundry Central Jail. On Saturday, he will travel to Delhi once more to meet with legal experts at the Supreme Court to discuss the arguments surrounding the quash petition, which is scheduled to take place on Monday.
TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh made it clear that although they are concerned about Chandrababu Naidu's security in the Central Prison, they are not concerned about his health. He remarked that Chandrababu Naidu is someone who looks after his health to the fullest. According to Lokesh, the Maoists had threatened SP with a letter claiming they would assault the prison, and there had also been reports of a drone flying within the jail's grounds. Lokesh informs the press that this prison also houses offenders from Ganja and Naxalites.
Lokesh addressed the journalists outside the jail after the meeting. He said that while neither Chandrababu Naidu nor any of his family members had committed any crimes, Chandrababu Naidu was placed in court detention for 28 days by those in charge of the systems.
Following Chandrababu Naidu's incarceration, the former minister for the TDP has been in Delhi. On Thursday, he traveled to Rajahmundry to have a mulakat with his father. The judgment on Chandrababu Naidu's bail and detention petition has been concluded, however it is still pending. On Monday, the judgment will be given.
