Right Candidates for Lok Sabha: Public Guide
The tension and pressure are arising with not less than 48 hours are left for the elections. The blame game, accusations and tug of war all are at the peak. The Lok Sabha polls is an election between truth and lies, between those who deliver and those who make false promises, between those you can trust and those who are corrupt, remarked Prime Minister in the rally.
However now it is high time that we start looking past speeches, slogans and rhetoric, and start looking for the basic four markers of trustworthiness in those who come seeking our votes.
Democracy is uncertain business at the best of times and the act of electing a government always has an element of risk, but as the country prepares to send 543 people's representatives to the Lok Sabha, let's keep the four markers of trustworthiness in mind and remember that we owe it to ourselves to send the best amongst ourselves to parliament, not the worst.
