Second Highest Nominations- Kashi
The completion of the fourth phase of Lok Sabha election 2019, the nominations for the next phase got filled up. The nominations which were accepted or rejected caused a steer in Varanasi.
Varanasi is a high profile parliamentary constituency, with a total number of 102 nominations filled it became second highest after Nijamabad of Telangana, where 185 candidates filed their nominations.
The nominations in Varanasi were filled by Monday midnight, the steer was caused when a nomination was rejected, and the followers of the candidate staged a sit-in.
A group of people who were with Swami Avimukteshwaranand staged a sit-in when the nomination of Ramrajya Parishad candidate Sri Bhagwan was rejected.
The high drama was witnessed at Riffle Club Hall on collectorate campus, on Monday Midnight while the nominations were being filled.
As the nomination got rejected the drama of the sit-in begun and was going on for quite some time.
