Telangana Shows Its Power in the IT Sector!
When Telangana's IT Minister KTR tweeted about the IT industry a few months ago, it sparked a significant uproar. The then-Karnataka-IT Minister was enraged by his tweet inviting a company from Bengaluru to Hyderabad when the representatives complained about a lack of facilities, and a tweet war broke out between the two Ministers. The argument about which city, Bengaluru or Hyderabad, is superior began.
Bengaluru is in a better position than Hyderabad even though both towns are pushing IT, as the capital of Karnataka is known as the nation's IT hub. IT made significant advances in Bengaluru before it did in Hyderabad. The IT industry is highly competitive in Bengaluru.
However, Telangana surprised many with a sharp increase in IT jobs. Over 40% of new jobs in the nation were created in the state during the 2023 fiscal year. This demonstrates just how important the state is to the IT industry.
The state's IT industry has grown during the 2000s, and the capital city of Hyderabad has been constantly inviting large corporations and enterprises. Numerous international companies with headquarters here, including Google, Microsoft, and others, employ hundreds of IT personnel.
According to the figures, the IT sector expanded by about 31.44 percent during the fiscal year, and IT exports are also high. The state had over 1.27 lakh employees created in the IT sector during the fiscal year. There was over 2.9 lakh new employment in India.
