Telangana is one of the top three states for how quickly they handle public complaints
Telangana is first in the country when it comes to approving plans for building or starting a business. It is also one of the top three States when it comes to responding quickly to complaints from the public. The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances at the Center says this.
Telangana handles public complaints in just 15 days, while Tripura, which the BJP runs, takes an average of 180 days, and Punjab takes 159 days. The State/UT with the shortest average closing time is Jammu & Kashmir, with an average of 8 days (against 10 disposals). In second place is the Government of Manipur, with an average of 13 days (against 2 disposals), and in third place is the Government of Telangana, with an average of 15 days (against 851 disposals). In its Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) February report, the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances gave these details.
Assam and Chhattisgarh were ahead of Telangana in the Highest Disposals of Action Taken Report (ATR) format, but Telangana came in third. Telangana closed 606 ATRs, of which 37 were fully resolved, and 569 were only partially resolved. There were no resolutions in the works.
CPGRAMS is a website available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. It is a place where people can report problems with service delivery to the government. It is a single portal that links all the Ministries or Departments of the Union and State governments.
With the unique registration ID given to the complainant when they signed up for CPGRAMS, they can check on the status of their complaint. It also allows people to appeal if they aren't happy with how the Grievance Officer handled their problem.
