Telangana's accomplishments are recognized in the Economic Survey

In addition to being placed third for maternal mortality rate and fourth for FLFPR, the State is also ranked first in the survey for providing drinking water to every family.
According to the most recent Economic Survey 2022–23, Telangana ranks among the nation's top States in terms of logistics development.
The State is rated first in providing drinking water to every home, third in maternal mortality rate, and fourth in terms of female labour force participation rate, according to the Survey, which the Center presented to the Parliament on Tuesday (FLFPR).
Apart from Telangana, 11 States with scores of more than 90%, including Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, and others, have made it to the Achievers list.
In terms of health indicators, Telangana was one of eight States that achieved the 2030 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of reducing the Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) to under 70 per lakh live births. The national average is 97 live births per lakh. The MMR is 19, 33, and 43 in Kerala, Maharashtra, and Telangana, with 45 and 54 in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, respectively.
Telangana has one of the lowest out-of-pocket costs as a proportion of overall health spending in the nation at 48%.
