Transforming Andhra Pradesh: TDP's Trillion-Dollar Economy Vision
Nara Lokesh, the general secretary of the TDP, reiterated the party's ambitious goal of transforming Andhra Pradesh into a trillion-dollar economy. He stated that under the upcoming TDP-aligned NDA government, concerted efforts would be made to realize this objective. Lokesh emphasized the track record of the TDP administration, highlighting the establishment of major industries such as Kia, TCL, and HCL during their tenure, which significantly contributed to job creation for thousands of youth in the state. He contrasted this with the lack of new industrial ventures during the incumbent YSRC government's rule.
During his election campaign, Lokesh sensed a shift in sentiment among the state's people, engaging with residents of Samruddhi Apartments and neighboring areas in Tadepalle of the Mangalagiri Assembly segment. He observed that those who had faced challenges during the past five years under the YSRC administration were now inclined to support the TDP-aligned NDA in the upcoming elections. Lokesh's interactions underscored the growing dissatisfaction among the populace with the governance of the incumbent party and their readiness to endorse a change.
