Political Leaders from Telugu States Applaud Operation Sindoor

As news broke of the Indian Army’s successful completion of ‘Operation Sindoor’, political leaders across the Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana voiced their support. The operation, which struck nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoJK, was widely praised as a bold step against terrorism.
Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called it a “decisive response” to the Pahalgam terror attack and hailed the armed forces for their bravery. “Such actions reflect the strength of our nation in protecting its sovereignty,” he stated, expressing full support for the military.
Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh reacted with a brief but powerful message: “Justice is served. Jai Hind!” Current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu echoed similar sentiments, writing “Jai Hind” in his social media post.
Telangana leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) also applauded the operation, particularly praising the precision of the airstrikes. “Saluting the amazing Indian Armed Forces... Wishing them more strength in eliminating terrorist infrastructure,” KTR wrote.
The unified support from leaders across party lines reflects the national consensus against terrorism and a shared appreciation for the armed forces. Their reactions also signal strong political backing for continued counter-terrorism efforts, especially in the wake of the devastating Pahalgam attack that prompted the military strike.
